THE LOYALIST HUMANE SOCIETY
NEEDS
THE COMMUNITY'S HELP

NOTE: We are still looking as of November, 2008. Our shelter has to find a new home by April 30, 2008. We are currently renting a house owned by our president but this location was only intended as a temporary measure - more than three years ago.

A major problem is that we receive absolutely no funding from any level of government, and rely totally on donations and our own fundraising efforts. As a result, there is not a lot of money for rent. We would have to negotiate utilities and taxes, and we would be able to provide a tax receipt in lieu of rent, or for part of it.

We need a space of at least 1200 square feet, which is already subdivided, or could be. It needs to have hot and cold running water, be heated, and have windows which can be opened. Ideally, the facility should also be located in or near to Picton.

If you have a suitable property, please consider us as tenants. For further information, please call Gail at 613-476-4951 or Sharon at 613-471-1762. Thank you.
